Tuesday's Tiny Treasures

3/22/11:

Years ago, at probably the ripe old age of about 16, my daughter took a picture of herself with a Polaroid camera.  It was a silly picture – she was hamming it up with a really cheesy grin.  Remember the white space at the bottom of the picture?  She used a silver marker and wrote, “Good Morning, Mom.  I love you!”

I have that picture tacked up on my bathroom mirror; I see it every morning.  It never fails to make me either smile or laugh at loud at her comical expression.  It also serves as a daily reminder of my daughter’s thoughtfulness and love.

Yes, it was just one little picture that captured just one small moment of life.  But…….It’s the tiny things in life that sustain us.
